Welcome to Galop, the LGBT+ anti-violence charity.

If you’ve experienced hate crime, sexual violence or domestic abuse, we’re here for you. We also support lesbian, gay, bi, trans and queer people who have had problems with the police or have questions about the criminal justice system.

GALOP NEEDS YOUR HELP

**Update: Please complete the follow-up consultation by Friday 22nd January 2016- http://www.londoncouncils.gov.uk/node/28077  **

London Councils is a key, important funder of services for LGBT Londoners. In the last two years alone, 1100 LGBT survivors of domestic abuse across London sought specialist support from Galop and partners. Without funding from London Councils, these vital and life-saving services for LGBT Londoners will not continue.

London Councils are currently deciding whether to continue their grants programme past 2017, and if so where cuts could be made.

You can view Galop’s response here. You’re more than welcome to use or adapt it for your own response.

Your support will help secure future funding for LGBT people who have been through a dreadful experience.

Our partners in the Domestic Abuse Parnteship are: Stonewall Housing, PACE, Broken Rainbow  and Switchboard.

Thank you for your support in protecting London’s LGBT domestic abuse services!
