Job Opportunity: Operations Manager

We are delighted to be recruiting for a new permanent position on Galop’s Management Team.

The Operations Manager is a member of Galop’s Management Team (MT) and oversees the day to day functions of Galop’s operations under the direction of the CEO and with the help of the Administrator, the bookkeeper and (when available) volunteers.


The postholder is responsible for all Galop’s administrative and communication functions including:
• Operational support to the CEO and Service Leads
• Day-to-day financial management
• HR and Health & Safety management
• Office and facilities management
• Communications management

HOURS: 35 hours per week. Please note that this job will require occasional evening and weekend work at meetings and venues.

SALARY SCALE: NJC SCP 32 – 35 (Including Inner London Weighting £33250 – £35,643).

CONTRACT TERM: Permanent

RESPONSIBLE TO: Galop CEO

RESPONSIBLE FOR: Administrator (4 days a week) bookkeeper (2 days a week).

EMPLOYED BY AND BASED AT: Galop, Holloway Road, London.
