LGBT+ Survivors need to be seen, heard and supported. Come #OutAgainstAbuse

If you're an LGBT+ person experiencing domestic abuse, there are organisations that can help. Call the National LGBT+ Domestic Abuse Helpline for more - 0800 999 5428

Galop, the LGBT+ anti-violence and abuse charity, is proud to launch a national social media campaign titled #OutAgainstAbuse

The campaign will run from November 25 to December 21 across three different platforms – Facebook, Twitter & Instagram. Through the voices of survivors, the campaign raises awareness of domestic abuse within the LGBT+ communities. It also provides information on available support and encourages LGBT+ survivors to seek help.

The campaign is designed and delivered by Galop in partnership with Stonewall Housing, LGBT Foundation, Birmingham LGBT, RISE UK, Intercom Trust, and Victim Support Wales.

We hope that people will show their support by sharing/retweeting the campaign video & images, following #OutAgainstAbuse and by contacting Galop and the partner organisations for more info and resources.

Follow @galopUK on Twitter & Instagram, like the Galop page on Facebook or follow the hashtag.

The campaign runs within the framework of the National LGBT+ Domestic Abuse projects funded by the Home Office and delivered in partnership with Stonewall Housing.
