Transgender Day of Remembrance 2016

Sunday 20th November is Trans Day of Remembrance, which commemorates lives lost to transphobic hate and violence. Transgender Europe report that worldwide 2016 trans people were murdered between Jan 2008 and Dec 2015:



Many more trans people are affected by transphobic hate crime, sometimes enduring abuse as a part of everyday life.
