A Workshop for LGBT+ Survivors of Domestic Abuse
Do you want to take part in a supportive workshop for LGBT+ Survivors of Domestic Abuse?
Have you ever wanted to meet other LGBT+ survivors of violence and abuse in a safe environment, and learn about abuse in intimate and family relationships and ways to move away from the impact of abuse?
Our group support workshop aims to offer a safe space to meet and share with others who may have had similar experiences to you.
The themes explored will be:
+ What domestic abuse is
+ Messages and myths we receive about LBGT+ people victimised because of domestic abuse
+ Unpicking reasons people give for their abusive behaviour
+ Ways to cope with everyday life after violence and abuse
If you would like to find out more about the group or register an interest please email Nikki
A facilitator will then call you to have a conversation with you and a place will be offered.
