Ad Hoc Volunteering!

Due to our current set-up we are unable to take on volunteers for ongoing office-based roles. However, if you feel you could offer your time or skills on an ad hoc basis we would love to add you to our pool of volunteers who we can call on for one-off events or projects.

  • Helping with one-off events – e.g. fundraisers or events like Pride
  • Helping to deliver publicity – e.g. dropping off cards and leaflets to LGBT+ venues across London or mail-outs to let people know about us
  • Helping to Fundraise – e.g. if you have expertise in fundraising, want to put on an event for Galop or raise money through sponsorship

Please download our Volunteer Application Form and tell us a little bit about what you would like to get out of working with Galop. We will then contact you to have an informal chat about the next steps.

Unfortunately, as we’re a small organisation we don’t have the capacity to train volunteers to work directly with clients. If you are interested in advice work with clients you might want to look into one of the larger charities, such as Switchboard, THT or Stonewall.
