Statement on Battersea & Walthamstow Investigation

We are aware of a current investigation involving a suspicious death in Battersea and a linked sexual assault in Walthamstow. Galop is in contact with the Metropolitan Police, who are keen to speak to anyone who may have information that is relevant to the investigation, particularly anyone who might have had contact with the suspects.

More information from the Met & their press statement can be found here

If you think you’ve been a victim of one of the suspects in this case or you have some information which might be relevant for the investigation, you can contact the police directly by calling 101, quoting CAD 6467/4 June, or you can speak to Galop in confidence by calling 020 7704 2040.

If something similar has happened to you, or someone you know, you can contact Galop in confidence to discuss your options and get support. If you are worried because consensual drug-taking was involved, Galop can help you think through your options.

Galop is an independent, confidential organisation. We can support you to report, pass on intelligence that protects your anonymity, and/or give you support and a space to talk about what’s happened. Contact us:
