Galop is proud to have co-designed the UK's first Independent Hate Crime Advocate (IHCA) Qualification Course, in partnership with Tell MAMA, CST, The Monitoring Group, Choice in Hackney, Stay Safe East and The Eastern European Resource Centre. This ground-breaking, nationally available course aims to strengthen how we respond to hate crime across the UK.
The 14-week course will provide the skills, confidence, and intersectional understanding needed to support all victims of hate, exploring best practice approaches for working with victims and survivors of hate, drawing from the largest and most robust 'by-and-for' knowledge base on hate in the UK.
The course will cover each of the five strands of hate crime as recognised in law, and provide certification for participants to provide effective anti-hate advocacy.

Once we have your information secured, one of our trained case workers will call you to discuss the issue further and ensure we have all the details we require to record the incident accurately and offer you our support.
The Community Security Trust (CST) is a Jewish charity that supports victims of antisemitism and records antisemitic hate incidents and hate crimes. CST received charitable status in 1994 and is a national organisation with full time staff in London, Manchester and Leeds and a network of volunteers throughout the United Kingdom. Its annual Antisemitic Incidents Report contains the only UK-wide statistics and analysis of antisemitic incidents and hate crimes. CST has extensive experience of advocacy and support for victims of antisemitic hate crime.
Stay Safe East provides advocacy and support to disabled people that are experiencing any sort of abuse, harassment or violence.
Choice in Hackney supports people who have experienced disability hate crime, based on learning disability, mental health needs, physical disability and/or sensory impairment.
The Monitoring Group is a leading anti-racist charity that promotes civil rights. We provide a helpline and casework service to people experiencing racial violence, religious hatred, sexual violence and state neglect or misconduct.
